Provisional Agenda

Dear friends,

It seems like less than one week is what we have to endure till the big moment! :) We hope you are at least half as excited as we are!!!

Now that everything's set regarding the transportation issue, it's time to focus our attention on how to treasure our time together. Thus, please have a look on what we suggest as a general schedule:

As you might notice, we are not bound neither a tight agenda, nor strict activities. Still, we are very open to suggestions  about what we could do together. Therefore, please do send us an e-mail or call us if you have some cool ideas, so that we can prepare the right conditions for it in advance.

Another thing we would like to ask all of you, and probably our last request till we actually meet in person, is to contact (e-mail/telephone) us about 2 (title and name of band) of your favorite songs you would like to hear at our wedding. We will not be nagging you about this one- it is entirely up to you if you want to have your special musical moment or not. Furthermore, we'd like to invite you to bring cool party music on a USB drive (not more than 5GB, so that everyone has a chance to hear their music at some point) - we cannot guarantee that we will be play everyone's music, though, so make sure you at least send us the name of those songs you like so we can prepare them for you till the wedding ;).

Some details shared

We have received quite a number of questions about the event itself, which means either that you are very anxious about it, or that we have been very mysterious- potentially both scenarios are valid :) !
In any case, now that we got civil ceremony out of the way and already learnt the wonder of married life (for a week!), we'd like to shed more light on what you are about to experience in two weeks.

As you already know, we are going to spend three days in the mountain area, which involves the following:

• it's likely that internet access will be very limited (if any, not sure yet). However, mobile coverage is assured - get ready for a full weekend away from your e-mails and Facebook accounts;
• make sure you pack some comfortable outfit - there is no specific dress code. The gorgeous bride and groom will show off in a dress and a suit during evenings (at least the first hour of the parties) and thus you are invited to bring elegant clothes, if you also feel like parading a little- it is entirely up to you;  
• a schedule-related post should be available soon, please be patient. You are more than welcome to help with ideas so please do email or contact us in any way about ideas;
• accommodation will mostly be provided in double rooms. However, since we decided to opt for more  great people than old-fashioned comfort, the situation occurred that we will need to make some arrangements that involve (at least) one of the following measures: supplement the rooms with another person, improvise a large cosy bed for 5-6 persons in a separate big room and/or put out some tents in the pension's yard. We'd like to ask those of you who are more open to share a bed, mattress or tent to email or contact us and let us know.    
• since this seemed to be a common and recurrent issue, we would like to remind you that since we'll be living overseas for the next years to come, we can't really take objects or any items as presents. As a young married couple ready to start a new life together, as material as it may sound, money is what we could use the most. We do realise the expenses you will already have with travelling (quite a few of you from a great distance) so please don't get worked up about spending more on presents as your decision and efforts to be with us are the greatest gift we could hope for; 
• hence away from civilization, make sure you leave your worries and inhibitions at home :).   

Instead of an uninspired ending, we invite you to feast your eyes on a couple of immortalized moments from one week ago, when we officially said "yes"!

Hi all,

This post, as the cleverly crafted title suggests, is just a promise of what is to come. We are currently quite busy, but you can expect a comprehensive post from us in the not too distant future, wich will contain the followings: a traveling plan tailored to everybody's needs and desires, an event description and tentative schedule and some practical pieces of info (like presents, food, etc.).

In the meantime stay tuned and start thinking about music and activities (we are likely utilize your super creative brains for ideas).

Traveling (how to get everybody to our haven)

Dear coolest people,

As all great things come at a price, reaching us will require passion and determination (probably a car, as well). And here comes the first and very important task we are asking all of you to do for us. Please go to

and fill out the spreadsheet we created. It is crucially important for us to know these pieces of info so we can start hooking people up… ehm… organize some carpooling.  Plus it will give you guys a first overview of who is coming and how. Please fill out the spreadsheet by the end of this week: midnight June 23 (Sunday). 

A few small things:

• be as specific as you can 
• couples: feel free to follow our example and count as one unit;) This way we can also be certain whose plus one can actually make it to our wedding.
• if there are more options available (you can arrive at multiple locations or depart at different times), mark them all!
• if you are flying somewhere, as a general rule of thumb, the later you go back on Sunday, the easier for us to get you to the airport.

The important thing is that we will heed everybody’s need(s) (hehe, rhymed)  and solve every issue that should arise, but like any good general, we need information first. Once transportation is taken care of, we will turn our attention to other issues (food, fun, ideas, dress code) and diligently post about them on our awesome blog.
